on Oct 22, 2015, Updated May 31, 2023 15 Comments Apple chips have always been one of my favorite things throughout the year, but especially during the fall. When the apples are in season, I think that these apple chips are even better than any other time of the year! Therefore, I make them, and make them, and make them until I’m sure if I make them one more time my family will start a petition against me. Luckily for me though, they’ve yet to do that! I think they love them as much as I do! To make my baked apple chips, I slice them incredibly thin – about an 1/8th of an inch to be exact. I’ve found that the thinner that I slice them, the crispier they are when baked and stay crispier, too! I use my mandoline (carefully!) to get my apple slices this thin. If you decide to slice them any thicker, just increase the baking time to make sure they are baked throughout. I also do not peel or core my apples, but of course you can if you prefer. Here’s my baked apple chips recipe. I hope y’all love them as much as I do! Enjoy!Robyn xo
