This morning, I got up and had a glass of pineapple and ginger tea on my front porch. It was heavenly. I almost have to re-set my taste buds to appreciate the natural flavor and sweetness rather than the refined stuff. I’ve been on a serious Iced Tea kick for the past few weeks, and Pure Leaf is my go-to choice because it’s brewed from real tea leaves.

How to Make Pineapple Tea

Step #1: Place the pineapple, ginger, and water in a saucepan and set it over medium heat until boiling. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for fifteen minutes. Turn off the heat and let it cool for ten minutes.

Step #2: Transfer the pineapple mixture to the bowl of a blender. Process until smooth. Strain it through a fine mesh sieve and chill it until ready to use. You can thaw it naturally in the fridge if frozen, then mix it with iced tea when ready to serve.
