I love to keep it on hand for making homemade lemonade and so many other things! While it is simple enough to make as you need it, it also stores well in the refrigerator so that you always can have it on hand for using at a moment’s notice! Once it is cool, you can make drinks by the glass or make delicious desserts or other treats with it. To make a simple syrup, you’ll begin with equal parts water and granulated sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. You’ll stir constantly to ensure that the sugar dissolves, remove it from the heat, allow it to cool completely and then either use it in a recipe or store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for later use. You can increase or reduce the size of the recipe based on how much you need, but the measurements give provide for a reasonable amount of simple syrup. Here’s my Simple Syrup recipe. Enjoy!Robyn xo
