How to Make Easy Watermelon Skewers

These skewers are so fun and easy to make! They are great to make ahead for entertaining but are also great for the children to help make them.

Ingredients

Be sure to see the recipe card below for the full listing of ingredients, instructions, notes, and estimated nutritional information.

Watermelon Blueberries

You’ll also need chopsticks or bamboo skewers and a cookie cutter if you want to cut out the watermelon into shapes.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Cut the watermelon. Slice your watermelon into 1-inch thick slices. Cut into cubes or use a 3 to 4-inch wide star cookie cutter to cut into the star shape. You can also use other favorite cookie cutters for a variety of shapes. Assemble. Skewer 3 to 5 fresh blueberries onto each chopstick or bamboo skewer followed by a piece of watermelon for the top of the skewer. Repeat until all skewers are assembled. Store or serve. Store the assembled skewers in an airtight container if not serving immediately.

Make Ahead Instructions

To make ahead. Assemble the watermelon skewers and place them into an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Here’s how I make my watermelon skewers. I hope you love them as much as we do! Enjoy!Robyn xo
